Bottle at RBESG ’14, day 4 not so grand tasting at Craft Clerko, 10/08/14. Lightly hazed orange with a moderate off white swirl and spotting. Nose is tangy citric rinds, spice, caramel, grain, bread pudding. Taste comprises honey, tangy fruits, tarte fruit rinse, light spice, bready notes, cereals. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with some warming alcohol. Ok for one of these historical efforts!

Bottle at RBESG 2014. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is sweetcoen, nachos, tinned fruit, melon, candy, pear drops and icing sugar. The taste tart, apricot, acidic, tangy, white grape, dough, gooseberry and sherbet with a dry, acidic finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Odd, but not enjoyable.

0.75l bottle. Looks lovely in the glass with a really cloudy almost glowing orangey colored body and a huge white top that makes the same kind of noise that pop-fizz candy makes when you put it in the mouth. Unfortunately the head disappears as quick as it arrived. A really loud beer this! On the nose I get lots of interesting stuff. Mainly the orange/clementine/lemon thing dominates with alcohol, sharp yeast, some exotic spice mixture and some hay. Not bad at all. Tastes really strange. Like drinking some sort of super concentrated orange syrup. Not as alcoholic in the taste as the aroma lead to believe. Lots of sourness, the wild kind with brett and some spices. It's above average on the fizzing bubbles and it feels light oily in the mouth. Quite woody in the finish with traces of white currants, cherries, lemon and sour leafs. Must admit that I have no idea what kind of beer this is, but I kinda like it in a suspicious and totally unexpected way. 05.01.2014

13.12.2013, 0,75l bottle @ home:
Big fizzy shortasting head. Aroma is sweet fruity, kind of wine-ish, dried dark fruits, honey, cereal, nuts, almond cake, broth, hay, caramel, grass, spices. Taste is kind of fizzy sour-ish like sour winegum candy, sour apples, sodapoweder, hay, apple skin, citrus peel, sorrel, grass, almond essence, hints of honey. Nice acidity, a little too fizzy carbonation. Fair enough, but very interesting. Did not expect it to taste like it did based on the aroma.

Her får du alt du trenger: syre, bitterhet, frukt, salt og forfriskende egenskaper. Bare helt suverent.

Bottle, 75cl, at Patrick’s. A still beer, unclear dark orange in color. The aroma is quite cider like, some vinegar chiming in, lots of unripe fruit, a touch of grass and some sour berries. Medium body, dry and lightly tart. The flavor is pretty much the same, perhaps a bit more fruity. The finish is tart, fruity and berryish, with some tropical fruits. A beer that doesn’t look very good, but at least it tastes very good and the aroma is nice too. 130919
