This is an unfiltered Belgian Style Blonde Ale. The beer is blonde in color from the pale malted barley varieties. It is delicately hopped with Styrian Golding and Celeia for medium bitterness and aroma. Sugars are added for higher attenuation, following the practices of some Belgian brewers. Belgian ale yeast is used to add complex flavor esters. This beer is unfiltered and yeast is left in for additional conditioning. The beer is named Fatale because it is 8.5% alcohol by volume and will catch up with you if you’re not careful.

Bottle from Casey on the Black Country tour. Cheers my friend. Great to see you and Traci for the first time in 3 years. Hope you’ll come back soon It’s an aromatic authentic Belgian blond ale. If you hadn’t told me it wasn’t Belgian I’d struggle to tell you, perhaps a bit too clean and a bit too hoppy to be pure Belgian. Bit of perfume on aroma. Decent beer.

12 oz stubby bottle left behind at my New Years party by a neighbor. The pour is mostly clear golden yellow, with a one inch white head that falls with no lacing. The aroma is straw, malt sweetness, and an herbal yeast Tripel nose. The taste is the herbal straw, round full sweet malt, more of the herbal, and light banana clove yeast. The palate is medium to light bodied, fairly low carbonation with the yeast notes lingering in the aftertaste. Alcohol is decently masked.

Love the stubby 12oz bottle that I poured into a smaller Corsendonk goblet glass. Extra point for the cool bottle. The beer is unfiltered with sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Thus, the pour provides a cloudy golden body, cannot see through it but still radiates. Small head does not stick around for long. Aroma is moderate banana and pear esters with some sweet candy and mild dough from the yeast. A bit sweeter than I want it but still within my range of acceptability. I think I get a little bit of pilsner malt in the aroma particularly. Flavor is lower on the sweetness and esters and a bit higher on the doughiness with a little bit of bitterness at the end to round it off. Nice medium body, very drinkable. Sweet aftertaste. Very nice beer especially for the price. On the sweeter side and I would like a bit more carbonation. Underrated on RB.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of pepsican. Thanks! Pours a hazy almost murky yellow color with a thin fizzy white head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of bready malts with caramel, spice, stone fruits, very faint earth and herbal hops. The taste is sweet bready malts, cinnamon, other spice, caramel, strawberries. pineapple, citrus and stone fruits. Medium bodied, slight bitterness, high carbonation and no heat. Nice beer.

Bottle. Hazy golden body. Frothy, white head, quickly diminishing. Aroma is mostly clove with notes of mustiness, lemon, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A bit hot in the finish with peppery alcohol notes. Tastes of clove and lemon. Thin and simple for as big a beer as it is.
