Cask at Lacey's Bideford. It pours lightly hazy golden - amber with a medium sturdy white head. The aroma is fresh, bready malts, brioche, dough, some citrus peel, toasty action and floral accents. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, biscuit, floral, earthy, wood, some soapy citrus, grass and white pepper with a dryibg finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A fairly run of the mill golden bitter. Decent aroma anyhow.

Bottle from John’s Of Appledore, Appledore. Slightly hazed amber-gold with a thin head. Regular malty-bitter, but a healthy tasting one.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer fest 2014. Pale golden colour pour with a thin lasting white head. Aroma is sweet berry, raisin fruit with some undefined honey. Flavour is honey malt, touch of caramel, berry and light citrus hop. Lingering apple note. Palate is medium light moderate carbonation. Mesh.
