Flaska från SB. Gyllengul, disig med rejäl skumpuck. Liknar övriga års Hop Harvest som jag brukar gilla men något känns sämre i år. LIte endimensionell där den höiga och örtigt beska humlen inte har tillräckligt mycket att spela mot. Blir bättre lite varmare då saisonjäst och den mjuka nästan krämiga kroppen kommer till sin rätt och långsamt mjuknar även jag. Det här är riktigt gott även i år.

Draft glass @ Beerlovers Bar. Orange, near clear, creamy white head. Nose is doughy, low sweet candy, weak BE soap, almost esters. Rather empty tasting & body like with strange sweet plastic, soap, low metallic even, low sugar, just very empty, low plastic, vague esters,.. Where is my hop at? Rather disappointing since I am bit of De Ranke fanboy but this is just bland, vague, empty for me and with even something metallic.

Pours semi-clear blonde. Small, nearly no white head. Smell is rich, elegant noble hops. Taste is bitter, quite intense and strong. Tad grassy, very full noble hoppyness. Medium body and carbo. Nice

Last year's Hop Harvest by De Ranke, with Styrian and Hallertau, draft at Heeren van Liedekercke. Tightly cobweb-lacing, eggshell-white, moussy and stable head, lightly hazy, warm and pure 'old gold' colour with khaki tinge. Aroma of dry hay, straw bale, dried apple peel, bread crumbs, field flowers, iron-like raw spinach, unripe peach, dough, white pepper. Crisp, fruity onset, hinting at pear and apricot with a pineapple accent but restrained in sweetness, minerally carbonation, supple and bit resiny mouthfeel. White bread-like malt body, smooth with a very thin peanutty edge to it, underneath a grassy, spicy, bit oily hop bitterness, very floral and hayish, 'rustic' and peppery in the end with lingering breadiness. Very refreshing and adequately hopped like the others in this series, yet young and from tap it seems somewhat softer, creamier and less expressively hoppy to me than the other editions, which I only had from 75 cl bottles (some of which over a year old). Should revisit this from a bottle and perhaps even after a few more months of maturing, even if it is a hoppy beer intended to be drunk fresh.

750ml Bottle - Golden with a white head and a slight haze. Lemon, grain and faint hints of orange in the aroma. Lemon peel, marmalade and notes of peach and yeast. Refreshing.

Bottled:
Pours hazy, deep golden with a large, thick head. Aroma and flavour is all about floral, aromatic hops. Big and long bitterness.

On tap at Kafé België. Hazy golden yellow colour, bright white head. Aroma of floral and grassy hops, classic, malty, dry, flour, some lemon. Flavour is subtle, floral, grassy, malty, light lemon, bitter finish, really tasty. Light to medium bodied. Feels a lot heavier than 5.5%. Love these kind of beers.

7 3 7 3 15 Draft at Kafe Belgie, Utrecht. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of herbal hops, green weeds, spicy notes, grass and peppery saison like notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Lys brun tåkete med lavt offwhite skum. Lykter mariekjeks, sitron, korn, honning og hint av tigerbalsam. Middels fylde og bitterhet. Smaker granbar, belgisk gjær, korn og bitter sitrusskall.

Lys brun med masse hvitt skum som blir liggende. lukter av belgisk gjær, sitron. frisk i smak. med litt granbar.
