Originally rated December 2004. I had this brew for the first time a few years back on a very hot summer day after work. My friend and I tried this patio-bar in Ottawa and they had this wheat beer on promo. We decided to try it. Wow ! It was so refreshing, we asked for seconds within a few minutes. Now I am trying this one on a cold winter night, the day after our first snow storm. Poured a light golden colour with a shortlived white head and medium lacing. It is very clear and has hardly any scent, just slight malt. On the other hand, the taste is pretty good. It started crispy, went to a bitter middle and slowly kicked in a nutty / bread finish. Better in summer, very, very refreshing.

Pours a average frothy head with a yellow body. Initial aroma reminded me of a manure farm. That thank god was gone in seconds. The scent then came to me in a smell of grain and a slightness of wine and citrus. Very clean aroma. Initial taste had a sharp flavour to it. Tasted grainy and refreshing. Dry finish with a clean slightly bitter palate. Great for summer.

One of those beers that I used to like when I didn't know any better but now I just can't get into it at all.
