Hold up a pint of Colorado Native and drink in its amber lager color, brought to life with pale and caramel malts from our famous Moravian 2-row barley. We painstakingly balanced its malt character against select Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops to create a perfectly balanced, full-flavored beer. A lager yeast fermentation gives Colorado Native a slight fruitiness, complementing a citrus aroma note from a late kettle hop addition. Everything then comes together to deliver a clean taste and dry finish that is very drinkable by itself, or paired with your favorite foods.

Draft. Copper beer with a dark cream head. Malt and light mineral aroma. Caramel and light fruity flavor. Medium bodied. Caramel and light fruitiness linger.
Pours reddish amber with a thick foamy head. Aroma of malt, grains. Taste has watery malt, some hops, lingering grassy notes. Palate has some of the same, weak malt. Eh.

12 oz. bottle purchased in Frisco, Colorado. Pours a clear amber color with a tiny beige head and poor retention. Spotty lacing. Strong caramel malt aroma. Good caramel flavor, but overall not as smooth as most amber lagers. Flat mouthfeel. Medium body. Decent, but I expected better.

Drunk from a 12 oz. bottle. The aroma is pretty good caramel malts, rye, brown sugar, and dirt. Malty sweetness, with a light bitterness. Light to medium body, grainy, chewy, and clean. This is a solid, flavorful, and easy beer.

Clear, copper colored, small non lasting beige head. Aroma is of some malt, caramel, some brown sugar and bit herbal notes. Taste is medium sweet caramel, biscuit and brown sugar, medium- herbal bitterness with a hint of citrus, bit bready, somewhat dry, actually a pleasant finish and aftertaste. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Not that bad. (bottle from the brewery)
