Bottle from Kaufland, Ingolstadt, Bayern and consumed at home Thursday 22nd April 2021 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music we have the Aubergine rolls with Ricotta and in a Tomato Sauce tea tonight. Pours gold with a slight haze, soft mouthfeel, sprightly carbonation, causing a few burps, light hoppiness. It's good, well fine, needs a little more going on to pull me in though.

Pours hazy gold from the bottle. Frothy white head. Aroma is grassy, dusty, with aluminum foil notes. Taste is mildly bitter, herbal, notes of thyme. Finish leaves a mild sweetness on the tongue. Overall there’s nothing offensive but it’s an unimpressive Zwickl.

Bottle #2 from Kalea Beer Advent Calender. Malty aroma with a sour edge. Cloudy amber. Fluffy white head. Lght sweet before developing a bitter streak. After this the sweetness returns. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. Any sweeter and I'd go off it but as it is it's a decent beer.

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. A bit hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma and taste of malt, hay, light citrus and some hints of yeast. The body was on the light side. Rather refreshing.

Hazy golden with little white head. Aroma is little of everything: some noble hops, some grass and oatmeal. Taste is little carbonation induced sourness, and some even less bittersweetness. Smooth mouthfeel, good finish, medium body. Not bad.
