[ As Toccalmatto Sister Venus ].Unclear - hazy matt medium red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, wheat, moderate to heavy yeasty, tart fruit - berry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, wheat, fruity - berry - blueberry, yeasty, raspberry notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130814]

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Light blueberry fruitiness, light banana and caramel.

Sampled at GBBF 2013, London - Day 2. Pours cloudy read with a creamy, white head. Nose has faint berries and bread. Light to medium sweet flavor with more berries and doughy bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with lingering ripe berries. Simple, pretty tasty.

From cask. Pours hazy red to amber with a small pink head. Aroma is mild fruity. Light citric, mild fruity. Mellow yeasty, dry and slight fruity finish. Somewhat watery.

Tap at the Exmouth Arms, 29/08/13. Opaque raspberry red with a medium sized crimson head. Nose is berry fruits, sugar, light grain and cereals. Taste comprises blueberries, mixed berry compote, grass, rhubarb, pommegranate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp and refreshing in the finish. Decent refreshing fruity summer fun but nothing to return to in the winter!

Black Heart. Cask. Murky dark red beer with a purple tint. Residual pale head. Palate is semi dry with mildly crisp carbonation. Insipid fruits, vague cherry and a whisper of fruits of the forest. Minerals. Semi dry finish. I suspect there is a decent beer here, but the cask conditioning feels tired.
