Saisons are all about the yeast. It’s the specific strains and relatively long fermentation that create the complex spicy, fruity esters and dryness. We used to two classic strains, a “Belgian” and a “French” one to create that classic Saison experience. We are quite
satisfied with it, as it has turned into a luxurious and complex beer. We thought it suitable to give it a fancy french name. We proudly present: Les Perles Du Homard.

Blond colour with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have some yeast, light sweet malts and a slight soapiness.

Clear golden yellow beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, lots of very nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, lots of grains, bit sweet, caramel, bit fruit, some tropical fruits, cow fodder. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malts, lot and lots of banana peel, bitter, some caramel, lots of yeast. Aftertaste: green banana.

7 3 7 3 14 Draft at Kromme Haring, Utrecht. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of fruits, peppery yeast, lightly tart fruits, spicy notes and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

7 3 7 3 15 Draft @ Wild West Brewfest ’17. Hazy golden color. As good as white head with reasonable retention. Aroma’s: refreshing fruity, sourish, even a little salty. Retronasal it’s sweetish, sweet fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, light fruity. Medium bodied.

Tap @ Kromme Haring, 5 cl sample. Almost clear golden color, short frothy head. Aroma is a bit peppery, some flowery notes. Bit flowery sweetness in taste. Decent.
