Bouteille 33cl, BB 26/09/2019.

Bottle from BBP. Hazy dark orange with a small head. Quite sweet with mango, hops and some passion fruit. The body was on the light side. A descent one.

From bottle at BBP. It pours hazy orange - amber with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy mango upfront and throughout, tangy, passion fruit, nectarine, apricot and brioche. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, fruity tartness, dried mango, passion fruit, earthy, slightly chalky, orangeade, spice, pear drops, candy and some booze with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Not sure why they call this a fruit dubbel... More fruit beer than anything else. Not bad - expressive fruit, but a bit boozy and harsh in areas.

Smell is rather unclear orange, no real head. Smell is a blast of fruit. Very intense. Passion up front, backed up by the thicker mango. Taste is full , mild tart ( very mild ) extremely fruity. Very well done

Sampled as Proto PSS No head, copper-cognac coloured, lame-looking beer. Toasted grains, bit fruity aroma, but as to what... Toasted, bit wry, faint fruit acidity, wheat. Slick, sticky feel, low carbonation. Lame. JOY??? 5/4/6/3/11
