Bottle 750ml. @ RBESG14 - [ Clerkenwell bottle share. ] [ As Giesinger Rauchweizen ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, smoked, caramel notes, moderate yeasty, yeast, meat - bacon. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, meat, smoke, sweet meat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140810]

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty, smoked. Dry, carameoish, light wheaty/estery and smoked. Dry and slight herbal finish.

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 10/08/2014 Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell. Hazed orange / golden coloured pour with a fleeting white head. Aroma is nice smoked malts, biscuit and sweet grains. Flavour is biscuity malts, sweet, some staling. Light oak and smoked malts.Palate is chalky on te tongue with high carbonation, quite sweet and some lingering berry.

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014 London Sunday Tasting. Pours mostly clear gold with a mild, foamy head. Smokey nose with rich ham and sugary bread. Medium sweet flavor with more smokey, candied ham, some faintly sweet wheat. Light to medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Sweet finish with more smoked wheat, ham and toasted sugars. Nice rauch.

Bottle at RBESG ’14, day 4 not so grand tasting at Craft Clerko, 10/08/14. Hazed orange amber with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is tarte fruits, bready notes, light spice, touch papery, little in the way of smoke. Taste comprises subtle rausch tones - unlike the nose, light wheaten bread, spice, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with subtle smoked tones. Ok smoked affair.
