Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014 London Sunday Tasting. Pours clear, shiny gold with a creamy white head. Lightly papery on the nose, some cereal and hay. Light sweet flavor with pale bread, paper, sugar, grain. Light bodied with average carbonation. More simple cereal and paper in the finish. So so. But boy, what a treat to try this rare beer!

Bottle at RBESG ’14, day 4 not so grand tasting at Craft Clerko, 10/08/14. Clear golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is bready, grain, cereal, pale malts, vanilla essence. Taste comprises much the same, light citric vibes, grain, bread dough, light spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Cheers (Jan I imagine) for the German whale but ultimately whilst not unpleasant, a pretty forgettable number.
