Cloudy brown-ish color with a fine frothy tan head. Bready and fruity aroma. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Bready, mild fruity and some spiced notes in the flavor. Decent nice tasty Norwegian grocery store beer. Just a really dull label.

Bottle. A gusher, producing a big, collapsing light beige head over an unclear, orange-golden body. The aroma is yeasty and faintly sourish, with some caramel and apricot hints. Notes of cooked vegetables too. It’s rather effervescent, medium to full-bodied and semi-dry. Some sweetness, with caramel and bitterness. Yeasty, chalky hints. Not very good, but I guess if it was all fresh and the bugs hadn’t start affecting the beer it would be a decent one. 141220

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Brown colour, moderate to low head. Woody aroma, malts and some caramel. Fairly dry flavour, wood, malts and a little caramel again, very moderate hops. Easy to drink, and not bad, but I want something better than this for Christmas.

Fra flaske på Cardinal, DSJT nov-14: tynn og besk med lite kropp. Nesten ikke skum. Bør gis en ny sjanse.
