Aus der Flasche (bbe 23.09.2015) im 2014-10 getrunken. Ein tolles kräftiges, dunkles Winterbier! Sehr gut ausbalanciert ist der Grad der Bitterkeit und Süße. 9/4/9/4/15 Aus der Flasche (bbe 23.09.2015) im 2020-07 getrunken. Diese nun durchgereifte Weihnachts-/Winterbier kommt mit einer Schokoladen, Zimt und einer ganz leichten Rosinennote daher. Allerdings kommt es mit einem recht leichten Körper daher, so daß der Abgang dann recht kurz ist. 8/4/8/3/11

clear brown, smooth light brown head. Aroma is nutty and caramelly, dark caramelly. Flavor is dark caramelly, soapy, flowery. flavor is a little bit like a brown ale. Not that spicy. Quite nice.

Bottle 4 months over BBE date. Pours dark coffee brown almost black with medium light brown head. Aroma is malt drops, sage, rye bread, ammonium chloride and soy sauce. Taste is light to medium sweet, light to medium bitter and light umami. Body is oily with soft carbonation. Finish is long and complex umami with notes of raw licorice, caramel, burnt sugar, prunes, gravy, pine wood, black filter coffee, bread and hints of sweet oranges and grapefruit. Very rich

Cloudy dark copper with a small white head. Very spicy and caramel sweet aroma and flavour. Pretty unique...

Aroma: yeast and dark berries with some spices. Flavour: sweet fruit and berries with a spicy and yeasty finish. Colour: dark redbrown with a light brown head.

Bottle, 6.5%. Unclear dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, dark fruit, spices, orange peel, hop. little chocolate and candy. Flavour is malt, caramel, dark fruit, chocolate, spices, hop, little dark fruit, little orange peel, medium sweet and medium bitter.

Very dark brown, hazy with small beige head. Malty aroma with a little yeasty spice, hints of anise. Malt and caramel flavour, spicy, yeasty note. Can’t really discern any of the advertised pine needle and orange peel. Not bad at all.

Süffiger hefig malziger Antrunk, geringe Süße. Hopfennoten sind hintergründig vorhanden, steigern sich aber etwas zum Ende. Nur wenig herb, auch hier ist zum Ende eine Steigerung vorhanden. Röstnoten mit passender Süße. Gut! 11/8/9/9/8/9

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Sehr dunkelbraunes fast schwarzes Bier mit einer ordentlichen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, Gewürze, Kürbis. Geschmack röstmalzig, reife Früchte, viele Gewürze, Kürbis, Zimt.
