On tap at Edge Brewing Barcelona. AROMA: a nice and refreshing citrus aroma (oranges and some lemony), with a mild-sweet malty background. some peppery notes. APPEARANCE: gold and clear with moderate off-white head and medium retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma, with a predominant fruity-citrus flavor (orange, lemon) and a moderate-low sweet malt background- medium-low bitterness with an almost dry finish. PALATE: meidum-low body with average carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a very good and refreshing Saison.

Earl of Essex. Keg. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Modest cry seltzer, dry floralness, mild citrus and spice. Dry finish. Clean but a bit too laid back for me.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Hazy orange body with a thin white head that quickly fades. Lively fizz. No lacing. Aroma of tangerine and white pepper. Flavour of juicy orange, lime zest and a hint of spice to finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Very fizzy.

Keg at CASC. It pours cloudy orange with a small white head. The nose is toasty, bready, brioche, spice, cracker and cereal. The taste is crisp, bitter, toasty, cereal, farmhouse loaf, toasty grass, orange and grapefruit rind with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and crushable. Not much to it, but a very drinkable anyhow.

Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, hefe-weizen yeast, yeast, clove, light banana. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, hefe-weizen, yeasty, banana.
