Best beer of the night. Cask at William IV. Nutty, bit sweet, malty. Easy drinking, bit of caramel, toffee. Full bodied. Should have had another.

Cask (handpump) @ King William IV, [ Brodies Bunny Basher 2014 ]. 816 High Road, Leyton, London, England E10 6AE. [ As Brodies Baby Mild ].ABV: 2.7%. Clear dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, chocolate, roasted, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140418]

Cask, whilst enjoying some Cock action with Paul and Lorna, 31/05/14. Very dark amber with reddish hues and moderate off white spotting. Nose is toffee, biscuit, light hop presence, dark fruit rinds, faint spice. Taste comprises tangy dark berry fruits, toffee, candied fruit peel, hops thrown in. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent hoppy mild - plenty of flavour for the ABV!

Cask at King William IV during Bunny Basher 2014 - London. Pours clear, light brown with a frothy, off-white head. Toasty brown bread in the nose with hints of earth and dry cocoa. Light sweet flavor with burnt toast, slight minerals, cocoa, earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Balanced on the finish if a touch bland, with more toasty brown bread, faint dried berries and chalky cocoa. Nice mild.

Cask at Bunny Basher 2014. It pours clear deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, earth, wood, chocolate and light caramel. The taste is bitter, toasty, earth, slightly watery, varnish, raw hops and faint dark fruits with a dry, earthy finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Easy-going low-abv number. Decent.

Cock Tavern. Cask. Hand written pump clip read ’Mini Mild’ but subsequent conversation with brewers Johnny and Angelo revealed correct name is Baby Mild. Clear deep red beer, residual pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry with modest carbonation. Light tangy dark malts, very light. Bare whisper of smoke. Subtle dark fruits, tangy. Finishes smooth and dry with a very modest bitter linger. Pretty mild mild!
