Bottle shared during the RBESG London 2014 Sunday Tasting. Pours clear russet with a creamy head. Big mocha coffee aroma with accents of chocolate. Medium sweet flavor with creamy coffee, some toffee, creme caramel and maple syrup. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes sweet with light earthy bitterness, rich bready dark malts, lingering coffee. Very good.

Bottle at RBESG ’14, day 4 not so grand tasting at Craft Clerko, 10/08/14. Dark mahogany brown with light tan edgeing. Nose carries a big coffee punch, earthy cocoa rub, spice, big roastings, vanilla essence, all about the coffee. Taste comprises coffee grinds, dark toffee fudge, roasted malts, light spice, touch of chocolate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent coffee forward porter, nice rich espresso roastings going down.

Bottle shared by Kenny at RBESG 2014. It pours deep mahogany brown with a small tan head. The nose is big coffee, earth, roasty, mild acidity, fruit cake and mild soy sauce. The taste is bitter, big coffee, light soy sauce, toast and salted caramel. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. A bit too much soy for my liking....

Bomber from the Nugget in Woodland, CA. Pours dark brown with a transient tan head. Nice coffee aroma. Near full body. Flavor is very coffee - fresh drinkable coffee - with some dark malt and suggestions of chocolate. The coffee is not overdone, so this may be one of the better coffee flavored ales around at the moment. Try it, if you can get it. Finishing coffee and nicely bitter - with a chocolate residue.
