Draft pour at Rocklands Barbeque in Ballston. Poured a beautiful nutty brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was really nice toasted malts, bread, some light cola. Flavor was earthy hops, light bitterness, brown roasted malt. Really solid dark lager.

16 oz can generously sent by my secret Santa, Nimbleprop. The pour is a clear brown golden ruby with a one inch light tan head that falls pretty quick. The aroma is slightly burnt toast, fresh cereal malt, and a hint of an herbal yeast. The taste is clean fresh bread malt, the soft burnt char flavor and finishes with a nice integrated softly char roastiness. The palate is light bodied, soft natural carbonation and the pleasantly lingering softly burnt toast finish. Fun beer. Thanks, Andrew.

First try @Lost Generation. Full pour. Semi-sweet, brioche & dark chocolate nose; soft saline. Clear but dark, cola pour; light lace. Brown bread crust, bittersweet & earthy hop bite, mellow pith & brown bread with cola acidity. Thinner then the Grave Shift Dark lager but better. Great.

Coffee and dark chocolate. Lots of snappy roast. Pours dark brown with decent head. Light bitter finish. Super pleasant, easy drinking dunkel. Great stuff here. Bitter enough not to be a Tender Night, but good like that. Tap at brewery.

Dimpled mug at the brewery pours a translucent cola brown with a ring of white head. Nose has malt, pumpernickel, earth tones, some yeast. Flavor has some cream soda, bread, dried leaves, a little carob. Finishes dry, light tannins. Strong black tea thing happening. Well crafted.
