Low white head on an unfiltered tan body. The nose is sweet with herbal and tangerine notes. A solid, fresh bite to the taste with tropical and tangerine hop notes

Sample pours a pulpy pineapple gold with a ring of white head. Nose is big with tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, naranjilla, herbs. Flavor is pithier than I would have thought, orange and grapefruit now, raw pineapple, catty too. Interesting, reads new school on the nose and yet very old school on the flavor. Mostly full bodied and bitter on the end. 8 3 7 3 13

Draft pour at Bluejacket. Poured a hazy, bright yellow color with a medium-sized white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma was really nice citrus, with a hint of vanilla. Fruity, stonefruit character comes through on this one. Lost of juicy notes. Bright, peach, apricot, with some tropical fruit notes - orange. Creamy vanilla notes come through on the finish.

Quite hazy golden coloured body with a rich three centimetre tall soapy off-white head with a lot of bubbles noticeable from the bottom. Aroma of very assertive grassy and citrusey hops with a pronounced bitterness, but also a touch of an earthy and astringent flavour as well. Medium-bodied; Biting bitterness that is coupled with a very well-balanced and strong earthier and grainier malt profile with some alcohol and light apricot and peach flavours towards the end. Aftertaste shows a deep robust malt backbone, but much more of the emphasis of course is on the hops with some resin and light pine around, but this really is all about the citrus and especially the toffee and earthier hop flavours that seem to come fromt he Amarillo and Centennial side of the house. Overall, a nice IPA with a good profile, an excellent balance and showcasing the hops relatively well, despite them not being my personal favourites. Nice to try, especially from the source! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can after a hockey game in Arlington, Virginia, brought by the Director of Operations of the operation, sampled on 20-June-2018 - Thanks Erik!
