Bottle 33 cl. Pours a very dark brown with an orange hue and a small, beige head. Sweet caramelly and molassy nose. Rich, sweet malty body with loads of crystal malt, biscuit and molasses. But sufficient hops to make sure that it never gets cloyingly sweet. Perhaps there's a little roastiness there too. Solid offering, if not exactly the most sophisticated Doppelbock around. 130624

330ml bottle by the courtesy of Skinnyviking. Good looking with a solid fawn-coloured head slowly fading over a rosewood coloured body. Fair lacing. Dark doughy aroma, rather sweet. Malt-driven taste with caramel and dough, hints of apricot as well. Ends dry and sweet. Fine depth. Mostly hidden alcohol. Satisfying, rather sweet though. (Shared with Finn, session at his place in Tromsø 05.06.2018).

Gave fra Skinnyviking. Delt med Rune på Nerstranda 5 Jun 18. Mørk amber. Lavt skum med litt farge. Aroma av søte bær. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken marsipan & krydder. Lite påskestemning - men bra øl.

33 cl bottle purchased at the brewery. Dark amber colour with a creamy lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, syrup, lightly toasted notes and fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet and fruity with caramel malts and toasted notes. Rather sweet to the unbalanced side.

Bottle. Pours clear very dark copper brown with airy beige head. CLear aroma of caramel malt, with touches of chocolate and hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast, with notes of hops and cough drop. Bitter and herbal aftertaste. Well, bearable but nothing very impressive.
