From the first pour, you get a beautiful deep red colour and an incredible aroma of ripe cherries, subtle oak and refreshing sourness. The flavour is where this beer really shines — perfectly balancing sweet cherry fruit with a crisp, tart acidity and a gentle woody complexity.
It’s refreshing without being boring, fruity without being overly sweet, and sour without becoming overpowering. Every sip brings something different, with a smooth, wine-like character and a wonderfully long finish.
Complex, refreshing, beautifully balanced and seriously addictive.

Draught @ Brouwerij Rodenbach. Pours a deep mahogany with a reddish hint, good off-white head. Aroma of moderate assorted red berries, cherries, deep fruity wild flanders. Flavour profile continues, quite a balanced, character, moderate fruity depth, cherries, red berries, sweetish tart flanders wild elements, light tangy moments, gentle bitterness, nicely drinkable lacking the sharpness of some vintage rodenbachs. Nice.
