375 ml bottle. Thanks to Clarkvv. Aroma show bold coconut, hazelnuts and chocolate. Liquid Mounds candy bar. Thankfully in flavor it shows some bitter oak and mild rum alcohol on the finish. Oily texture and it is nicely balanced. Well crafted!

Bottle pour shared by ClarkVV --thanks, Clark! Inky opaque black, nice viscosity. Aroma is strong roasted malt, hazelnuts, vanilla and coconut (attributing to rum). Taste is rum, roasted malt, vanilla, vague nut. Velvety smooth, mild warmth but no alcohol harshness. Excellent complexity. If there's a fault, not getting bourbon.

375mL bottle drunk 1/11/25.
No head. Just oil. Dark, black. Possibly opaque.
Hazelnuts are tempered by soft, sweet, succulent Vanilla that SP does so well. Gently spicy bourbon with lots of malt sugar and very little coffee that I can find. The hazelnut almost reminds of coconut and there's tons of deep fudge, with no alcohol. Not any overt rum barrel that I can find. Intense, aromatic, balanced.
Again with the coconut, and there's big coffee in the flavor, but it's fruity, rich, robust and not burnt/ashen. Rum spice through the middle and lingering big on the finish. Hints of coconut and hazelnut combine with floral rum and sugarcane character. Not too much bourbon, just undercurrents of spice. Not nearly as fudgey-sweet as expected, which is fine with me. No alcohol noted. Lingering bright acidity and juicy coffee. Thick, rich, syrupy texture but not excessively-so. I don't love rum barrel-aged stuff as much as I do bourbon, but it's nice to change it up. I do drink way too many bourbon BA stouts and don't branch out enough. This is unique and incredibly well-done.

All Side Project beer effervescence are the same
Smelled like intense coconuts, tasted like a cluster of hazelnuts, coffee, and vanilla. Went down too quick
