330 ml bottle. Clear dark golden with a foamy head. Grainy, grassy, metallic, malty, zesty. Metallic bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, metallic bittersweet finish. Okay Pilsner.

Bottle at Gasthaus SchiefenEDER, Moos, nr Plattling Friday 5th January 2024 after a great meal. Pours clear gold with a large white head, nice bitterness, dry and fruity, lingering bitterness, very more'ish'. Lovely

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, hopfiger, getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, hopfig. Leicht süß mit hoher Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Sehr helle, leicht trübe Farbe. Hopfig herb im Antrunk (etwas mehr, als man es von einem Pils aus Bayern normalerweise erwartet). Dies verliert aber ab dem Mittelteil etwas an Fahrt und läuft dann vergleichsweise mild aus. Fruchtig frisch. Leichte Grapefruitnoten treffen auf florale Nuancen. Hat für 4,9 % Alk. und 11 % Stammwürze einen ganz guten Körper.

Bottle 500 ml. Golden, clear, snow-white head. Aroma: German hops, slightly sour-herbaceous profile with flowers and spice, a little malt. Taste: hoppy, a little candy and malt crackers, spicy-herbal hops, clean, bitter, a decent pilsner.

Clear brilliant gold, moderate white frothy head of good retention. Aroma and taste: cracker malts, spicy noble hops. Very clean. Light sweet. Light to medium bitterness. Palate: light to medium body. Lively carbonation. Overall: fine.
