Cask@Craft Clerkenwell (RBESG 10/08/2014) - brown pour with off-white near beige head. Hoppy fruity and light roasted malty aroma and taste, slight floral and herbal nuance going on, solid bitter finish.

Cask - Grains, caramel and earthy hops. Clear amber with no head. Caramel, grains and bitter hops. Not enough roast for a "black" and long bitterness is a bit much.

Cask gravity at Craft 100. It pours deep brown with a medium beige head. The nose is roasted malt, toast, cocoa, coffee and treacle. The taste is roasted malt, toast, mild acidity, coffee, ash, toast, pine, varnish and grapefruit with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Alright, but not a whole lot to it. Decent enough hoppy stout.

Gravity dispense at Craft 100, CBC Clapham, 03/04/14. Dark mahogany brown with a decent tan covering that thins to a swirl. Nose is tangy red berry fruit, light pine, smoke, light roast. Taste comprises faint cocoa, light pine, red berry twang, roasty, touch of grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a trace of hop bitterness. Decent CDA.

Craft100 at Craft Clapham. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Smooth dark malt, no roast or bitterness. Nice light pine hops with a good citric and tropical fruit backing. Light dry finish. Tasty and very drinkable cda.
