Sheffield CAMRA Steel City Beer Festival 2024. Hazy brown colour. Quite fruity with darker malts giving this an interesting twist approaching black IPA.

Rocky off white head stayed on a murky reddish brown coloured body. Toffee, berries & malt aroma. Medium to full bodied, thick creamy & lightly carbonated on the clean back. Red berry, red wine, jam & boiled sweet tastes with a nicely hopped tangy finish. Cracking Ale.

Bottle. High Peak Wine and Beer. 6.5%. Mostly clear deep reddy amber. Dense swirl of lasting, lacing of white foam. Looks boss. Nose has charred citrus. Lightly toasted sweet grain. Pineapple skin. Taste has a jammy sweetness. Gets super pithy and bitter. Slick and smooth. Fine brisk carbonation. Juicy jammy finish with a welcome citric tartness.

Keg at 8th ISBF held at Hemsley House, Salford. Pours unclear ruby amber with a beige foam. Bitter grapefruit pith, brambles, hedgerow with a hoppy finish. Noice!
