Bottle bought at Hvidsten Kro. Pours hazy dark amber with airy off-white head. Dusty aroma of roast, malt and carmel and hops. Hints of fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with roasty notes and touches of caramel malt and fruit. Estery and slightly malty aftertaste. Watery. Smells better than it tastes. Not that bad but a little more carb would do wonders here.

Clear dark amber. Small offqhite head. Sweetish, malty, dark yeasty aroma. Malty flavour, low bitterness, slightly earthy. Sweetish, dry finish.

Bottle, 5.6%. Old ashes and dark bread aroma. Almost clear dark brown colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is caramelly with a mild roasted malt note and a sweetish, floral hop note. Creamy note as well.

[ As Hvidsten Kro Marius Øl ].Clear light medium orange amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grass - leather, shoe polish. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, tart - sourish, dusty grass, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140829]

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and light breadish. Dry and breadish. Light bitter. Toasted malty. Ends medium dry and bitter.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark golden to amber body and a small, off-white head. The aroma is lightly fruity, with some paint remover and sourness. Fruity too. It’s medium bodied and quite dry, with a soft carbonation. Bready, caramel maltyness in the flavor, with higher alcohols and fruityness. Low on bitterness. Some bitterness in the else fruity and bready finish. Rather bad this one, but the higher alcohols can be overlooked. 140829
