Bottled. Deep brown colour, close to black, with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is toasted, some roasted notes, alcohol, some rum and mild toffeeish tones. Flavour has some spiciness, alcohol, some roasted and liquorice tones with dried dark fruits and figs. Pleasantly balanced, and the rum barrel elements really suit in well with the beer. Nice one!

Dark brown color, almost black, beige head with short retention. Aroma has notes of toasted malts, some roasted, molasses, and black ripe fruit. Flavor is slightly sweet, toasty, light sweet coffee, hints of rum, very good integrated. Slightly sweet final with toasty notes.

Sampled at LIBF 2018. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours black , small dark head. Smell is rhum, way to much rhum. Taste is full, sharp, bitter, boozy, rhum. A thick body and base stands up to the rhum, and creates a better balance than the scent promisses.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Rubin77. 330 ml. bottle sampled @ LIBF 2017. Waxed. Black, mocha head. Barrel is harsh in the nose, raw varnish booze, sugar, chocolate syrup. Too alcoholic, harsh varnish alcohol, vanilla sweet, too alcoholic with oxidation, plastic & chocolate, huge sugar. Body is alcoholic, sweet sugar slaw. Too varnish, raw boozy. Not bad but liked the regular one more.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Almost black with light brown head. Sweet chocolate, strong rum, alcohol, flowers, fudge, tobacco, raisins, apple, more rum. Quite sweet with quite some boozy bitterness. Full bodied with boozy finish. Nice but a bit too boozy.

Bottle shared at Gekke Geit. Black with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, massive rum and raisins. Tobacco. Massive sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Very Jamaican.

Caña en el Malte La Coruña 05.. 11..2017. (r16). Color negro intenso con poca espuma beige oscura que desaparece al poco dejando pequeňa corona. Sabores intensos a ron y caña de azúcar con gran dosis y sensación alcohólica desde el principio al final. Cuerpo intenso algo líquido poco denso. Suave amargo final algo seco. Notas suaves de cacao, vainilla y café. Una auténtica sobredosis de ron. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna.
