West Coast Pilsner with Citra®, Simcoe®, and Mosaic®
New style alert: West Coast Pilsner! It starts with German Pilsner malt, 40 IBUs of Adeena hops, and our favorite German lager strain. If we left it there, it would be a pretty classic German Pilsner... but late in fermentation we dry hopped it like a West Coast IPA with 3 lbs/bbl of our favorite varieties! The result is an unobstructed expression of the hops, with a snappy finish that leaves your palate clean and ready for another sip!

16oz can pours a lightly hazy gold with some wispy white head. Nose has some tropicals, light florals too, light grist. Flavor has mostly lemon and honey, there's a huge lick of pineapple that comes through the end. Medium bodied, super easy to drink. I dig. Beastie's palate is blown.

16 oz can generously sent by my Secret Santa, Nimbleprop. The pour is a hazed yellow, golden, orange with a well formed two inch white head that falls with splotchy lace. Pretty beer. The aroma is soft pineapple citrus hop, touch of resin, herbal and nice grain. The taste is fresh and clean, with hops up front of the pineapple citrus, herbal resin. And then moves into the clean cracker malt backbone. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and crisp clean soft bitter finish. Tasty beer, right up my alley. Thanks for sending this my way, Andrew.
