On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. A deep and dark brown looking one, on the nip of being black there its resting in the glass. It also has a little dark brown sidesticking and islandy head. Lots of darkness in the smell. Super dark Belgian chocolate, cocoa powder, licorice, the salty kind, vanilla extract and dark espresso coffee. Quite a powerful and complex punchy nose. Oh, it's super powerful in the taste! This is a true monster! I took a big sip and it feels like my mouth has gone all black inside. Rich and chewy mouthfeel and it's prickling on the carbonation bubbles. Extremely heavy on the booze this. Burn the throat so that I almost think it has been added chili. Strong espresso coffee. Lots of chocolate lingering in the mouth. It's a monster. A tasty sipper of a monster. Lovely. 03.05.2014

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Red Session. Pours clear black-brown with a creamy, brown head. Big charred malt aroma, with ample dark chocolate, burnt wood, scorched earth, faint peat. Medium to big sweet flavour, yet not cloying, with nice baking cocoa notes, burnt toffee, slight vanilla pods, earthy bitterness. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with rich roast, char, bittersweet cocoa, brownies. So, so very solid. Excellent, with great balance for the strength.

Draught@CBC2015. Black colour, mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, some liquorice, mild alcohol as well as some chocolate. Flavour is quite similar, but also has a nice vanillaish and quite bitter touch to it. Balanced.
