Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours totally clear yellow-gold with a large, lasting white froth. Plenty of saison yeast on the nose with notes of tangy lemon, straw, dried cereal, wheat. Light sweet flavor with lightly tangy lemon notes, hints of plastic, straw, dry grains, white bread, lemon rind, faint grass. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes with some lightly sweet, dried wheat bread, grains, fairly prominent saison yeast, bitter hay and grass. Very slight astringency, some lemon zest in the aftertaste. Drinkable enough.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of light fruit and flora with some sweet grains and grass. Flavor is much lighter on the flora and fruit. It has more sweet grains and grass.

(Thanks Peter "russellcrow") Bottle. A- Beef jerky, hay. A- Golden color, clear liquid, white head. T- Beef jerky, meaty, yeasty, grains. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, funky finish. O- A very different saison than anything I have ever had. A lot of meaty flavors. Reminded me a lot of liquid jerky. It wasn’t horrible, but it was different from anything I could have imagined.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is plenty of farmhouse funk and white sugar. Flavor is even more of the yeasty funk with a citrus bite toward the end. Funky and fruity the way a good saison should be. Pretty good beer.

12 oz bottle purchased at Lukas in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a cloudy orange golden, with a one inch white head. The aroma is lightly citrus fruit, along with clove yeast notes, a general earthiness and wheat grain. The taste is lightly sweet pineapple fruit, followed close behind by the clove yeast notes, a green pepper note, and the husky wheat grain. There is also an odd, almost peanut buttery taste very faint in the long finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, and the long slightly dirty finish. Easy drinking.
