On tap at Cafe Sara. A black one, topped by a tan head. Lots of roasted malts in the aroma, with licorice, coffee and a nice hoppyness. Quite sweet flavor with lots of licorice and roasted malts. Full body, pleasant carbonation and some warmth. Lasting finish with a fine bitterness. I like this one, for sure. 140501

Fra fat på Ølhallen 25 Apr 14. Svart. Høyt mokkafarget skum med litt lacing. God baconaroma. Smaken veldig god: Litt mandler. Svakt røykpreg. Blir syrlig etter hvert. Tørr ettersmak. Alkoholen godt kamuflert.

On tap at Café Sara. Black with a beige to brown head. Aroma of dark malts with roasty notes, dark fruits, chocolate and hints of liquorice and spices. Medium sweet with nice, moderate roasty flavours. Well balanced and quite smooth. Medium to full body with fairly average carbonation. Nice one! --- Beer merged from original tick of Art Collection - Belgian Black Ale on 14 Apr 2014 at 18:58 - Score: 7

Huge brown overcarbonated longlasting head. Aroma is slightly roasted and loaded with co2 stinging in the nose (Atchooo!!), roasted dark malts, hay, burnt caramel, burnt coffee, chocolate. Taste is very burnt, espresso, burnt caramel, dark roasted malts, burnt grain, hay, chocolate, grass, ashtray, hops. Longlasting bitterness, dry roasted mouthfeel, high carbonation. Meh!
