Geruch hefig, bananig, fruchtig. Geschmack nach reifer Banane, hefig, fruchtig, leicht hopfig.

600ml bottle. Hazy yellowish, deep golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy, fruity aroma, a yeasty touch, hints of apple, pear, banana, herbal overtones, a touch of spruce, some piss. Taste is slightly fruity, hoppy, herbal, hints of pear and spruce. Not exactly what I’d expect from a Weizenbock, nevertheless with some nice fruity and herbal notes, relatively light and refreshing.

Hefiger, leicht fruchtiger Antrunk mit etwas zu starker Karbonisierung. Herber Mittelteil, die Hefigkeit rückt in den Hintergrund. Minimal alkoholischer, etwas hopfiger Abgang. 12/10/9/11/9/11

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is banana, clove, peach, sugar, and wheat. Taste is somewhat sweet. It seemed a little bit on the light side to be a weizenbock. However, it was tasty and did show some veritable complexity.

Draft @ Lord Hobo. Hard to see the color of this beer is such a poorly lit room. But I can see it has a nice cap of bubbly head. Solid retention. Light yeast aspects of clove, bubblegum and hints of caramel covered bananas. Flavor brings out tons of wheat, some clove, again caramel fruits and some dry spicy herbs. Light – medium in body. I was hoping for a more traditional German wheat Bock, this is something a bit different. More like a lighter hefeweizen. Flavor is good and easy enough to drink.

Very pale amber color. Very light body, a touch of bananas, a touch of astringency. Lively carbonation, moderate finish. Enjoyable, but nothing complex.

600 ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with huge white head that settles quickly. Aromas of resin, dried bananas, cloves, cinnamon, and a touch of sulphur. Flavors of bitter resin and green bananas with a mixture of spices that follow through to the finish but throw off the balance.
