You know that Wadesda is the brand we use when we want to try out something new.
With WADESDA WITZ we travel to the world of wheat beers, which in Belgium we simply call "Blanches". This is the first test of a recipe that will undoubtedly evolve, destined to quench the great thirst…
As usual, we did it our way - so she has character - and without adding any spices as, contrary to popular belief, the Blanches of the old days did not contain any!
Its aspect is pale and slightly hazy, as it has to be for this beer style. Its nose is finely herbal, floral (wild flowers, chamomile), and slightly fruity (quince, passion fruit). Wheat is of course the superstar here and offers beautiful accents of fresh cereals, as well as a subtle acidity. The refined bitterness of its finish strengthens its thirst-quenching character.
A light beer, 3.3% only, only available in kegs and in limited amounts.

Hazy pale gold colour. Lasting white head. Zesty orange wit bier aroma. Good lemon orange citrus flavours. It's soft light and rather lovely. Only 3.3% abv very drinkable. Good hop biting hop on the finish. Delicious. Good thirst quencher. Decent. Light sourness too which is pleasant. Light spice. Decent.

25cl draft @ Zenne Bar.

Pours slightly hazed blonde. Scent is malty, wheat, not as pronounced on citrus and coriander. Taste is sharp, very bitter for a wit. Again, mild to hidden coriander and citrus. Wheat is recognizable though. Lovely, but not very styletypical.
