Rocky white head left a frothy cover on an unclear light amber coloured slowly carbonating body. Confectionery & cardboard aroma. Medium bodied, sharp with gassy, dry clean back. Bubble gum, peach, hoppy & pine tastes with a fruity finish. Standard

[44cl can from Beer52.] A cloudy amber pour with a fast fading white head; fruit hop aroma; smooth and well balanced in the mouth with fresh leafy hops and a chewy biscuity malt base; then a clean finish with subtle hops. Very drinkable.

Can. Not my normal purchase but this has Mystic and Harlequin hops, so my inner hop geek is immediately attracted. Hazy orange beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, a nice light fine minerally crispness. Light malts, a nice light sweetness. The hops start with a light and mildly crisp pine. The mild blackcurrant of Mystic is immediately obvious. Grape and very light passion fruit follow, all overlaid by the crisp cooling pine. Touch of savoury skunk. Some Jester limey citrus comes through on the light and mildly crisp finish. Nice beer, light and clean and lets these UK hops shine as much as is possible in a beer of this style. Thank you Turning Point for brewing this charming beer. Now, all you prolific dipa brewers - come on! Start using these new UK hops in the same quantities as you do the new world hops. I dare you to get out of yer ruts and support the UK hop industry. These hops are worth it. Double dare you. Good stuff from Turning Point.

A welcome return to The Covid Arms. Josh Jones was so funny I very nearly lost this excellent beer.
