A sun-soaked pale ale lazing away under a gentle pine fragrance, before heading down to Monterey Bay where the party’s at - grab some of that tropical cocktail aroma, then let your tongue return to bask under the pines and enjoy a quick sharp bitter finish.

A West Coast style pale ale brewed with American-sourced hops. Pine and tropical fruits on the nose, more pine on the tongue followed by a quick, sharp, bitter finish.

Keg at the Old Horse, Leicester. Golden hue with lots of visible carbonation and a touch of white head. Light notes of pineapple and banana on the nose. Not a lot in the taste though: fairly bland and only noticeably bitter in the finish. Heavy carbonation hides the touch of butter in the aftertaste. It's okay, but it starts of better than it finishes.

Half-pint, keg, shared with Finn at Graze Bar, Brewery & Chophouse. A white head blanketing the glass. Clear golden body. Herbal hops with citric hints to the nose. Hop fruity flavours, hints of lemon, grain malty backbone. Short-lived bitter fruity hops to the aftertaste. Soft in the mouth. Refreshing. (Bath 03.05.2017).

Cask conditioned at The Cornubia, Bristol 27/7/2015. Gold with a thin, white, head. Sweetish aroma of orange blossom, apricot and citrus hop. Biscuity malt flavour, with a ripe fruit salad character, before a moderately bitter finish [3.2]. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Tetbury, 30/5/2014. Golden with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish, rich tea biscuit malts, big citrus fruits, and some grassy hops. The finish had a buttery edge, which detracted greatly from my enjoyment.
