500ml bottle from Newstead Abbey Cafe, Nottingham. Deep orange amber colour, hazy, with a frothy white foam head leaving alittle lacing. Aroma of fruity hop, citric, apricot. Taste is malt caramel, sweetish and abit bready, with biscuit, fruity citrus, apricot, yeasty notes and some tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry fruity light dusty bitter finish. Quite OK.

On cask at Cloisters. Appearance - golden with a nice head. Nose - tangy marmalade. Taste - more oranges and quite sweet again. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a finish that is unfortunately too sweet. Overall - good ipa but too sweet only the end.

Flaske 0,5l spandert av Rune og delt under ratesammenkomst hos ham 29 Mai 13. Aprikosfarget. Lavt skum. Litt uklar. Grei fruktaroma. Smaken vassen! Litt frukt med innslag av metall. Under pari. Vasken fikk en god del.

500ml bottle picked up at The Ship in a Bottle, Liverpool. Fading, bubbly, whiten head. Near-clear, golden body. No lacing. Pale malty aroma mingled with dusty hops. Rather bland flavour profile of pale malts and leafy hops. Floury and watered ending. Notes of alcohol. Flat and rather disappointing (Tromsø 29.05.2013).

Cask, gravity at Dudley Winter Ales Festival Sat 26th November 2011 with Bob. Pours hazy gold with a white head. The chap next to me suggests American hops, I’m not sure as all I get is a strange chemically, twiggy flavour. Not really sure about this, to be fair it is three days into this beer festival and I am not convinced that many of the beers are the best of condition now. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov12
