Backlog October 2016. Dark brown, almost black body under a small beige head. Aroma has caramel, dark malt and nuts. Taste is sweet, smooth roasted dark malt, caramel and decent bitterness. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Very nice. Did not find the nuts in taste, only aroma.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Interesting aroma, rum? Clearly some booze up there. Very rich and sweet, was a slow gusher in the bottle but now actually feels a little flat. I can taste a sweet spiciness but not exactly that it’s walnut. Gets a little cloying due to the massive sweetness. But quite interesting and innovative. 091215

Bottle. A more or less pitch black one, topped by a dense, beige head of moderate size. The aroma is quite interesting, some elements I can’t recognize. Nutty, sap-ish, woody and lightly acetone-ish. Brown sugar, tending towards soy sauce. Sweet, lightly warming and full-bodied, with a soft carbonation. Roasted malts, wood, nuts and brown sugar in the flavor. A tad too much sweetness. Lasting roasted finish with licorice and a nutty, woody touch. Quite lovely this one. 150515
