On tap at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 31/5/2015. Deep gold, with a slight, white, head. Dense, savoury malts, a hint of fruit and moderately bitter finish. Not a beer I would rush to try again.

On tap at The Lyric Piccadilly. Clear gold thin white head. Quite hop forward. Some lager malt. Quite hoppy on the finish. It’s no Keesman Herren but what is. Touch of staleness om aroma. Ok but not great.

Keg at the Cask, Pimlico @4.9% ABV, reckon its got to be this version!?! Clear golden with a moderate off white swirl and edgeing. Nose is cereal, toffee apple, straw, bread dough, light peppery spice. Taste comprises light citrus, pale malt, straw, caramel, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp closure. Ok pils.

Keg at The Lyric - Soho, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a creamy white head. Nose holds some doughy, biscuity pale malts with hints of straw. Light to medium sweet flavor with crisp and doughy malts, mild bitter straw, cereal, touches of lemon peel. Light bodied with average, brisk carbonation. Clean and crisp to finish with biscuity pale malts, some light cereal, hints of tangy lemon. A very refreshing, fairly well rounded pils.
