A double dry-hopped hazy pale ale bursting with juicy pineapple and fruit salad notes from the hefty hop additions of Mosaic and Azacca, layered on a smooth wheat and oat malt base.

Cask at the Wellington, Sheffield on 6th March 2026. Thickly hazy straw coloured with shallow, dense white foam and full lacing. Citrus fruity aroma. Full grapefruit in-mouth and a sweet and tangy spiced citrus finish. Full body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Alphito is a spirit first described by the Greek philosopher Plutarch, and used in moral tales to frighten children. There's nothing too frightening about the beer though, hazy citrus tropical fruit in both aroma and taste, lightly sweetened keg pour. Decent.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Slightly dirty looking hazy gold. Suds of white. Nose has oats and cryo hops. Taste is pretty sweet up front with a moderate leafy bitterness. Not a ton of life to this really. Feels a little dull. Light bitter finish. Ok.
