Amarok, a noble god of leaders and the hunt. In Inuit mythology, the Amarok is a huge wolf that haunts and preys upon those who hunt at night. Using this beast as inspiration, we have developed a cold IPA to exemplify the freezing surroundings of the Arctic.

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Very light almost greenish gold, clear with a small uneven film of white head. Aroma of grape and gooseberry, a little bit of apricot and some vanilla. Taste has a good malt present with a sturdy biscuity taste, sweet fruity notes. Slightly dirty on the finish. Medium body with carbonation slightly on the low side. Notes of white grape and sweaty stone fruit in the aftertaste. All in all a really good beer, just loses points on the dismount.

Keg @ Gas Works Brewbar, Manchester. Golden with a head. Has a dryish hoppy character, fairly full tasting. Hits the mark without being outstanding.
