Bottle, 75cl. It’s a dark brown beer, oily, and with just a few bubbles on top. The aroma has licorice, burnt malts and molasses. Feels quite sweetish, but the first sip confirms it isn’t. Actually, it’s more on the sourish side, in a burnt, roasted way. Sort of oily on the palate, medium to full bodied and with flavors of burnt malts, raisins and licorice. Lasting finish with roasted and burnt malts. Licorice too. Way too one-dimensional this one, but sort of interesting. 140301

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee and hops.

Bottle @ yespr. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate aroma. Roasted malty woody chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate finish.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Pitch black with no head. Roasted aroma with peat, coffee, chocolate, caramel, a hint of alcohol and a hearty amount of smoke. Taste is sweet. Finishes dry and bitter with smoke and peat overpowering. Unbalanced.

75 cl bottle. Pours pitch blackwith a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and chocolate. Thick malty, metallic, light fruity. Slight bitter. Dark malty and light breadish. Bitter, light smoked. Dry and vague citric finish, hard roasted.
