A well balanced Imperial Rye IPA. Bittering hops are matched perfectly with the citrus and floral aromas from dry hopping, creating a clean, smooth finish with tons of flavor.

bottle - Amber pour, smells of rye and citrus. It has good bitterness with rye, resin, and citrus flavors. Medium bodied. Dry finish. It’s very good overall though for me it’s a little underwhelming for the style as I tend to rate IIPAs highly.

Bottle. Orange juice, caramel malt, pine, and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy amber with giant off-white head. Moderately sweet orange juice, caramel malt, and strong bitter pine/grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Decent balance - pretty sweet and bitter but not extreme.

Cloudy, light amber. Thick, offwhite head. Aroma has rye up front with hoppy notes. Oily, smooth mouthfeel. Flavour has more rye, solid hoppy bitterness, something woody. Nice one.

Bottle, 8.0%. Slightly plasticky aroma, sweetish and papery. Grey amber colour. Very big stable off-white head. The flavour has a sourish hop note, hint of salt and a late liquorice (?) aftertaste. Creamy finish.

Bottle @ Hoppy Advent Race in Space, Sønderborg. Pours hazy amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of grain, malt and yeast, with fruity notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with distinct but non-aggrassive notes of rye and yeast, followed by sweetish, fruity touches. Bitter and rough aftertaste with estery hints. A very good beer for the style.

Slight haze on a darker yellow beer, there’s stuff in teh bottom of the bottle. Big puffy head. Sight volatile aroma. First taste is this big mouth coating resiny kick in the face. Yes, from the first swig this stuff is soaking bitter volatile soapy stuff. Very difficult and punching lasting big giant dull surprizeer. WEW! Turpentine thickness in the back of my throat. This taste is going to be with me for awhile. Yes, its 8% and you know it, no bones about it. Not impressed, its in the double IPA style I think.

Hazy deep orange - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Fine carbonation. Spicy rye malts, very rye indeed. Little tangy malt cream. Hops are pine and bitterish orange. A sweet floralness contrasts with hop spice. Light semi dry finish. An interesting and very rye forward beer, nice!

Half pint from keg at Craft Beer Co in Islington. Patchy, pearl white head leaving dotted spots on the glass. Unclear apricot coloured body. Dried fruity aroma, mid-sweet. Blended taste profile of raisin, bready malts, peaches, and pumpkin. Malt-fruity ending. Fresh and soft in the mouth. Rather easy to drink. Pleasing (London 23.09.2014).

Huge deep offwhite head. Yellow body made hazy by lots of little particles. Sugary raisiny strawy aroma with spicy fruity notes. Dryish-sweet roasty spicy fruity taste with raisiny strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth, slick mouthfeel. Dryish spicy rye and straw aftertaste with earthy salty resiny notes. I can’t taste the hops much, but I don’t really care. This is a great beer. (0.355l bottle, from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen.)
