Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malt base, just a mild sweetness. Bitter floral hops with a suppressed citrus and pith. Light semi dry finish. It’s not bad but really lacks hop punch.

Keg at Craft Clerko. It pours hazy gold with a decent white head. The nose is earthy, dank, skunky, grass, tropical fruit punch, passion fruit, pineapple, banana and five alive fruit juice. The taste is crisp, bitter, juicy, passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit, tinned pineapple, peppery spice and decent alcohol kick with a dry, prickly finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Great tropical vibe throughout. Alcohol is a bit harsh on the palate, but other than that it’s pretty legit.

Cask at sraf. Golden and clear. Not much head. Smells of geranium and general plant stalk. Bitter green stalks on the taste. Overall quite bitter but refreshment therein.

On tap at The Southern, Edinburgh, Saturday 15th March Pours warm gold wonderfully clear, sparklingly clear in fact slim white head atop. Nose is a little muffled initially but the hops do show. Hoppy, bitter but sweet, tastes quite strong (which it is) warming. Good IPA, but could be better. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov14 3.5
