We then blended these two grape fermented beers together in one of our oak foudres for four months and added in some wine lees to further the maturation and flavour development.

Bottle. Quite clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma is smooth funky with pale malt, unripe grapes and lemon. Taste is like a very smooth, mild but acidic geuze, light soft pale malt, sour citric fruit, lemon, hint of wood and nice funk. Balanced body with a long lasting, smooth aftertaste. Very easy drinkable, yet pretty distinct funky sour. Not much of white vine flavor really, closer to a well made geuze. Nice all the way anyway.

750ml bottle - Pours a hazy golden colour with a medium sized foamy white head that settled to a film. The aroma is grainy and yeasty, grape, lemon and brett. A drying fruity tart taste, sweet grainy malts, grape and brett flavours with some lemony notes in a light tart and drying finish.

Bottle, via the brewery online shop. Hazed gold. No head. Nose has wheat. Lemon rind. Grape skin tannins. Fresh brett. Grape juice. Soft lactic funk. Taste is dry and lightly bitter with a soft wheat sweetness. Nicely brisk carbonation on top of a fresh clean body. Light tart and dry finish. Nice.
