A labour of love, our clean, five-week lagered Helles sees 100% Bamberg Pilsner malt as the perfect backbone for floral, dank Hallertau Tradition and vibrant, citrusy Spaltz Select hops for a lager of truly mega, suppable proportions. And, now we've dialled in the recipe for an even crisper, drier finish - and an even more crushable abv of just 4.5%.

Bottle on 24th May 2025, received as gift. Pours very slightly hazy gold with shallow, lasting white foam and bands of lacing. Grassy hoppiness and savoury nuttiness in aroma. Grassiness dominates in-mouth, and finish is a blend of grass, citrus and emerging malt. Zingy mouthfeel and a medium body.

Pretty nice. Wheaty and floury, light hoppiness. Little bit of sweetness. It’s nice.

Bottle online from Clapton Craft. Pours clear pale gold with white foam. Aroma: bread, grains, mild lemon, floral hop. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, super clean. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Decent but not their finest.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with a lovely, fresh, doughy biscuit character, minimal bitterness, some white bread, hay. Light bodied with airy, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more impressively rich, fresh bready malts, pale biscuits, just a nip of bitter hay. This is great stuff.
