100% Sorachi Ace hops from Japan are used to flavour this pale session bitter with sharp lemon and lime bitterness. A little maize and pale wheat malt adds body and sweetness to balance the flavours. One or two won't be enough!!!!!

Cask at the Wandsworth Common Spring BF, Le Gothique, London. Pours clear yellow with a bubbly, white foam head. Fresh straw, lemon zest, hay and light grass in the nose. Light to medium sweet, faintly doughy, with lots of dry straw, light honey, citrus. Great character. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Excellent condition. Lightly dry to finish with more zesty lemon, sun-kissed straw, mildly sweet biscuits, hay. An excellent golden ale.

Cask at Wandsworth Beer Festival, March 2012. It pours light straw yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is perfumed akin to that of hotel shampoo/shower gel, herbal, floral, pear and grape. The taste is resin, hay, pine, straw, herbal, floral, perfumed, grapefruit and lime pith, with a long bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very interesting stuff. I probably shouldn’t like it, but I do!
