Bottle shared during the satellite Travlr 10K tasting at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Thanks to Paul and his buddy. Pours rich brown with a creamy tan head. Roasty-woody aroma with dry chocolate, roasted malts, char. Light sweet flavor with some minerals, heavy charred wood, strongly bitter scorched earth. Light-medium in body with fine carbonation. Huge charred malt finish with more earth, minerals and baking cocoa. Quite a rough one. Could definitely use some tweaking.

Bottle thanks to Paulo, shared at the satellite 10K tasting CBC Clerko, 19/08/14. Black with a decently appointed tan covering. Nose is light soap, dark malts, touch of smoke, hoppy backnotes. Taste comprises light roast, chocolate, liqourice, light smoke notes, again a touch of soap. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, smei drying close with a hoppy pa pang. Ok porter - tone down the soap notes!
