Keg at The Source. It pours is hazy brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, sweet, oily, herbal, jaegermeister, cola, toffee and white sugars. The taste is dry, bitter, earth, leathery, toasty, grainy, chewy, herbal, jaeger, cola, bit if caramel and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Quite interesting.

Keg atvthe brewpub, pours unclear ruby with a small, creamy khaki head. The nose holds ripe, leathery berries, and hints of brown read. Medium sweet flavour, more brown bread, touches of toffee, more rather berries. Medium bodied wth fine to average carbonation. Balanced finish, further brown bread, notches of caramel, toast, dried berries. Solid.

Dan's Stag. Brewhouse. Bristol. Keg. Light haze on this amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dry malts, some caramel. Ripe fruits and ripe citrus. Mild bitterness in the dry finish. Tidy but dry.
