Bottle shared on the train - thanks to Dave. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a small, foamy white head. Grainy pale malts in the nose with suggestions of citrus fruits, grass. Light sweet flavour with grassy bitterness, mild astringency, husky grains, lemon peel. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more grassy bitterness, grain husk, dried citrus peel. In the end, not bad overall.

Bottle on the Bristol Boost train - thanks to Dave. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The aroma is toasty grain, apricot, peach, more grain and grass. The taste is dry, toasty grain, straw, grass, bit of straw, soda water, grainy, apricot, nectarine, zesty action and peppery spice with dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Bit grainy and toasty. Nae great.

Dan's Stag. Train rate. Thanks to Dave. Light haze on this gold beer, thin patchy cream colour head. Palate is a little soft and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Slightly grainy malts, nothing serious. Modest orangey citrus, trace of grapefruit. Light floral citric finish. All right.
