75 cl bottle. Brown color, short dissipating yellowish head, no lacing. Aroma is nutty, sugary with caramelized malts, candies and some honey, relatively complex. Taste is sweetish with a mild bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation, dry finish with fuel notes.

Cask @Fass&Cask (Rome). Pours deep amber/pale brownish with a medium off-white head. Aroma is nutty, sweet malty, honey, chestnut, light hops traces. Flavour is a bit unbalanced on the sweet side, easy. Medium body, soft carbonation. So so...

Cask at Fass&Cask in Rome-Italy. Dark amber pour (cloudy), tick off-white head (retention). Nose: loads of nuts, some roast, coffee. Mouth: ripped apple, far too sweet tough in style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle sample @ Brassigaume 2012. Dark brown amber with a lightly tanned head. Smells of sweet caramel malts, light syrup, touch herbal. Taste is sweet cough syrup, dark malts, touch dried fruits, syrup, sweet musty, herbs. Oilier, softer carb body. Enjoyable fare. Although from the Italian breweries 2 Bressigaume - these guys were probably the least intriguing to me.

Bottle sample @ Brassigaume 2012.
